Every time I listen to Lucio Battisti’s songs, it’s like stepping into a timeless world. Even though they’re from thirty years ago, they feel as fresh as today.
My mom always made me listen to his songs, pointing out how incredible it was that complex stories, events, themes, and layers of narrative could intertwine into a single track of just a few minutes.
The partnership between Mogol and Battisti created amazing and timeless pieces. Today, I wanted to celebrate them through this visualization.
The visualization therefore explores the 18 albums of Lucio Battisti (lyrics in other languages and singles have been excluded from the analysis).

For each album, the most recurring words have been identified, and among these, the top five are displayed in the smaller charts. In cases where there are more than five words, it indicates that in that album, some terms appear the same number of times.
Additionally, for a word to be included in the chart, it must appear at least 3 times. For each album, it is indicated who collaborated with Battisti in composing the songs. The main chart, on the other hand, presents the 50 most frequent words in Lucio Battisti's entire discography.
